Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 28, 2026
Last updated: September 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Savage Pools (“Savage Pools,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit savagepools.com (the “Site”), call or text us, send us a message, respond to our ads (including lead forms on Facebook and Instagram), or otherwise deal with us. Savage Pools is a custom pool and outdoor living builder based in Katy, Texas.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and estimate requests. When you fill out a form on our Site, we collect your name, phone number, email address, your message, any photos or files you upload (for example, pictures of your backyard), and details about your project, such as when you’d like to start.
  • Phone calls, voicemail, and text messages. When you call or text us, we receive your phone number, the date, time, and length of the call, and anything you tell us. We use a Google Voice number, so call and text records, voicemails, and voicemail transcripts may be stored in our Google account. We do not record calls unless we tell you first.
  • Facebook and Instagram lead ads. If you submit a lead form in one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram (Meta), Meta sends us what you entered or chose to prefill. This usually includes your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or city, and your answers to our questions about your project.
  • Email and other messages. When you email us or message us on social media, we receive the contents of your message and your contact details.
  • Project information. If you become a customer, we collect the details needed to design, permit, build, and bill for your project, such as your property address and project specifications.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our Site, we and our service providers automatically collect some information using cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the time and date of your visit, general location based on your IP address, and ad click identifiers (such as Google’s “gclid” and Meta’s “fbclid”). See Section 3 for details.

2. How we use your information

  • To answer your questions, schedule consultations, prepare estimates and proposals, and deliver our services.
  • To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request or project.
  • To run, maintain, secure, and improve our Site and prevent spam and fraud.
  • To measure how well our advertising works (for example, whether someone who clicked an ad later requested a quote) and to show our ads to people who may be interested, including people who have visited our Site.
  • To keep business records and meet legal, tax, licensing, and warranty obligations.
  • For any other purpose we describe to you when we collect the information, or with your consent.

3. Cookies, pixels, and advertising tags

Our Site uses the following technologies:

  • Google Ads tag (gtag.js), set up through Google Site Kit. Google places cookies and uses similar technologies to measure conversions from our Google ads (such as form submissions and calls) and, where enabled, to build remarketing audiences. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Meta Pixel (and, where enabled, the Meta Conversions API). The Meta Pixel is code from Meta Platforms, Inc. that records actions on our Site, such as page views and contact form submissions, and sends that information to Meta. We use it to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, to reach people who have visited our Site, and to find people similar to our customers. Meta may link this information to your Facebook or Instagram account under Meta’s Privacy Policy. Where we use the Conversions API, some event data (for example, a hashed email address or phone number from a form submission) may be sent from our server to Meta for the same purposes.
  • Security, performance, and hosting cookies. Our hosting provider (GoDaddy), content delivery and security network (Cloudflare), and website plugins may set cookies that are strictly needed to deliver the Site, block malicious traffic, and keep it fast and reliable. Our hosting provider may also collect aggregated performance and traffic statistics.

Your choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also control ad personalization through Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences, and opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info. If you block cookies, parts of the Site may not work as expected. Our Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

4. Text messages (SMS) and phone contact

If you give us your phone number (on our Site, through a lead ad, or by calling or texting us), you agree that we may call or text you about your inquiry, estimate, appointment, or project. These are conversational and service messages, not recurring marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop calling you. You do not have to agree to receive texts in order to buy from us.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf, such as our website host (GoDaddy), Cloudflare, Google (Google Voice, Google Workspace/Ads, Site Kit), Microsoft (email), Meta (advertising and lead ads), and the form, scheduling, customer-management, and accounting tools we use. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising partners (Google and Meta), through the tags and pixels described in Section 3, to measure and deliver our ads.
  • Subcontractors, designers, and suppliers working on your project, when needed to design, permit, or build it.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, customers, or others.
  • Business transfers, if our business is sold, merged, or reorganized.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

6. We do not sell your personal information

Savage Pools does not sell your personal information for money, and we do not sell or share sensitive personal data. As described above, we use Google and Meta advertising tools, which some laws may treat as “targeted advertising.” You may opt out of targeted advertising using the choices in Section 3 or by contacting us.

7. Our online parts store (Shopify)

Our Site may link to our online parts store, Savage Pools Parts, which runs on Shopify. When you shop there, the information you provide (such as billing, shipping, and payment details) is collected and processed by Shopify and its payment processors under the store’s own privacy policy and Shopify’s Privacy Policy. Please read the privacy policy posted on the store before you buy.

8. Third-party links and services

Our Site links to other sites and services, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and Shopify. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies.

9. How long we keep information

We keep personal information as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. For example, we keep inquiries we don’t follow up on for a reasonable time, and we keep customer project records for as long as needed for warranty, tax, legal, and business record purposes. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, including under Texas law, you may have the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information and see a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete personal information you provided or we obtained about you;
  • opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling; and
  • appeal our decision about your request.

To make a request, email info@savagepools.com or call (832) 819-2551. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. We will respond within the time required by law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

12. Children’s privacy

Our Site and services are meant for adults (homeowners and property owners) and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Where we operate

Savage Pools is based in Texas, United States, and serves customers in the Katy and greater Houston area. Information we collect is stored and processed in the United States.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we may also notify you by other means.
